Zeppo: Sinners From Beyond the Moon!
It started as a short film by Jerry Williams in 2004. When Eric Butts was hired to play a few roles and edit the short, he fell in love with it and they decided to turn it into a feature length movie.
In 2005, production began. over the next year and a half, production continued when ever it could. Practically no money was spent and most locations were in and around one house. The few others, were filmed with guerrilla tactics. Production finished in mid 2006.
Jerry Williams, Eric Butts and Pat Bowling then spent the next year and a half locked in Eric's basement completing post production. With high ambitions and limited equipment, they faces 100's of computer crashes before finally finishing the film in late 2007.
The movie premiered at The Kentucky Theater on November 3rd, 2007. It was Debbie Rochon's Birthday and she flew in for the event.
Afterwards, Eric and Jerry took the film to a few festivals and produced a small run of DVD-Rs that quickly sold out.
From there, the movie sat around with nothing happening and everyone moving on...
